ABOUT MARZIYEH SALEHI JAHROMI
I’m a molecular medicine and cancer researcher whose work spans basic discovery, translational research, and clinically aligned assay development. My background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine, advanced training in bioinformatics, and research across several U.S. institutions, covering animal modeling, epigenetic mechanisms, and polycystic ovarian syndrome, as well as drug-response testing, CLIA-oriented assay validation, and patient-derived organoid models, as my recent focus. I pair experimental rigor with analytical depth to strengthen the reliability of both preclinical and clinical studies, and I also review manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.Alongside my research career, I bring 19 years of experience teaching biology at the high school and college levels, including serving as a head biology teacher. My work has been recognized through national awards for top teacher of the year, top scientific translator of the year, and top graduate student of the year.
