During my time at Marquette, I was Managing Editor of the Marquette Intellectual Property & Innovation Law Review where I applied my legal writing and communication skills to edit and publish academic articles. Further, I interned at Waterstone Mortgage Corporation where I drafted and reviewed various contracts and agreements, communicated with business partners, and gained an understanding of mortgage law. Prior to entering law school, I worked as a corporate retail marketing and communications professional at Kohl\'s, Inc. for 4+ years where I created and executed strategies for its credit and loyalty programs, collaborated with internal and external partners, and supported credit store acquisition. I hold a Bachelor\'s of Arts degree in English with a focus on rhetoric and writing and a minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
