As a seasoned leader and Chief Legal Officer (CLO) I work to improve health - a passion that developed early in my career as a Critical Care Nurse. In my role as General Counsel I work to facilitate advancements in health by innovating, creating efficiencies and solving problems. I work with executives and boards to recognize and embrace emerging opportunities, technologies and treatments so that our ability to be a healthier society continues to evolve. Sometimes that means providing care in a different setting and sometimes that means expediting the development or use of new medicines and technological advancements. Creating and obtaining licensure for “first of a kind” Joint Venture health plans by collaborating with health care/hospital systems in various states. Negotiating and closing the acquisition of Integra Partners, a DME/POS benefits administration company to diversify the company’s holdings.
