I oversee projects from inception to completion, providing preliminary project scopes and budgets to team directors, creating project artifacts, and monitoring project progress from milestone to milestone. I coordinate with internal teams to overcome blockers to progress and facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure that projects run smoothly. I also lead a weekly meeting for internal teams to coordinate their efforts and make sure that no team is working within a silo. I accomplish this by reaching out to each team for weekly updates and by maintaining a master release planning calendar.Additionally, I work with other members of the PMO to maintain a Confluence library of project management processes and best practices, updating our documentation to reflect lessons learned from completed projects to improve our overall effectiveness and efficiency. I also mentor new members of the PMO when they are hired, setting up weekly 1:1 meetings with them to make sure they are acclimating and feel supported as they transition into their new role.

From editing a complicated manuscript to make it easier to understand to taking a multi-step project plan and removing unnecessary touch points without compromising on quality, I enjoy making things easier for my colleagues, my end users, and myself.I am at my best when I am helping others to be their best. Throughout my career I have provided clients, teachers, and students with the information and materials they need to succeed.
