Lead university-wide career readiness initiatives across five campuses by establishing partnerships with academic departments as well as student services and enrollment management units-Provide vision and leadership to reimagine how to deliver career development services and resources to a diverse student population, including online students-Develop and lead a staff of 4 career and leadership development professionals and a team of five student paraprofessionals located in two physical office locations-Establish goals related to career readiness and career pathways and provide data and updates to Academic Affairs for USG Momentum Year and Complete College Georgia -Increased the number of students completing career advising appointments by 19% after implementing online scheduling and an option for virtual appointments-Develop career planning content for a newly added First-Year Seminar module, which also included collaborating with the Director of Academic Advising to integrate the academic planning content -Revamp campus recruiting options for employers by offering small pop-up events, traditional in-person career fairs, industry-specific events, and virtual opportunities-Oversee rollout and continued implementation of two new Student Leadership Programs for first-year students and upperclassmen that focus on the NACE Career Competencies and the Social Change Model of Leadership-Implement the new iLEAD Peer Educator Program, a student leadership program focused on student success and the USG Mental Health Initiative, and collaborate with a Student Life partner to oversee groups on four campuses-Develop and implement departmental assessment plans and survey tools-Led logistics for the Spring 2021 Student Leadership Conference, providing an in-person networking and learning opportunity to 70 students while other institutions were only offering virtual options-Foster existing and develop new employer relationships across the state and a five-county region
