As a reporter for WFUV Sports, I have the privilege to cover local and collegiate sports through engaging and insightful story telling. My role includes On-Air reporting, in which I deliver commentary and in-depth analysis of game play. In these settings I often curate content, writing scripts on the fly in order to deliver news via the radio and digital platforms via sideline and press box reporting. The community of WFUV Sports has allowed me to work collaboratively with peers to produce radio coverage for collegiate sports, as well as Podcast ranging from college to professional teams. Through this position, I have honed my audio production, live broadcasting, and sports jouralism knowledge, while deepening my knowledge of the sports industry. WFUV, an NPR affiliate radio station, has provided me with a dynamic platform, allowing me to seek creative outlet to connect with listeners and fellow sports enthusiasts.
