About Maryellen Weiser

I have always loved being around people, learning new things, and competing with and helping others. These attributes gravitated me toward sales and administrative roles, specifically in healthcare. I am extremely coachable, driven, and ready for a challenge. My first role was a mentor in Texas Tech\'s Honors College for incoming freshmen. I absolutely loved getting to help them transition from High School and navigate their first semester in college. I got promoted to Lead Mentor the second year where I was able to implement changes into the program and mentor the mentors, as well as have my own class to mentor. I graduated in May of 2020 with my BA in Marketing with a Certificate in Sales and CRM, hoping to go into medical sales. I graduated a year early, so I decided to go ahead and get my Master\'s degree. I was contemplating an MBA but really wanted to focus more on healthcare, so I decided to pursue the Healthcare Administration program at TTUHSC. During this time, I worked at CARMA as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This is very unique position, as it is a small company. I got to do social media marketing, help with event planning, connect with doctoral students using our services, and even help with strategic planning for the company.I moved from Texas to Denver, CO in the Summer of 2021 and started my post-graduate career here at Physical Therapy of the Rockies as the Provider Liaison. Since I have been with Physical Therapy of the Rockies, I have broken the record for New Patients seen at our clinics. We have had a steady stream of referrals, and have gotten to focus on other aspects of the company to improve.In 2023, my fiancé and I moved to CO Springs and after working in Administration at UCHealth, I started a role with Upstream Rehabilitation as a Medical Sales Account Manager!
