As a member of the General Counsel’s Office, I provide legal counsel to all Amperiprise Financial lines of business supporting the drafting, negotiation, and enforcement of vendor contracts and transactions. A small, trusted team, we advise global enterprise business partners on contracts for technology, services, licensing, and more. This routinely includes:• Providing business leaders with legal and commercial business advice related to vendor management and ensuring compliance with company policy and practices. • Supporting leadership with recommended courses of action that comply with legal and financial industry standards, while identifying potential risks, outcomes, and mitigation strategies. • Counseling internal partners on disputes and available means to address and resolve, when things don’t go as planned• Contributing to policy and process development to deliver efficient and effective legal counsel. • Collaboration with team members on projects.
