I am a Forester with the US Forest Service Southern Research Station, Athens Prescribed Fire Science Laboratory in Athens, Georgia. I conduct spatial wildland fuels research using terrestrial LiDAR, vegetation sampling, and ecosystem monitoring in a variety of locations, including Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, Osceola National Forest, DoD lands, and the high Andes region of Ecuador. I am passionate about research applications for effective forest management and climate adaptation in fire-dependent landscapes.
