ABOUT MARY BETH PELLETIER
My expertise lies at the intersection of my ability to educate, influence, and engage through communication and project management for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mission integration and sustainability efforts, managing outreach programs, issue resolution and advocacy, and executing communication strategies. I see how to educate in non-traditional ways connecting people emotionally at events, social media, and creative communication and experiential storytelling.I enjoy working with mission driven organizations and facilitation of community outreach and relationships, brand management and strategy, special events, internal and external communications strategies, and stakeholder publications. Regardless of the task, I approach it with confidence and high emotional intelligence, ensuring that decisions are made effectively. I can develop strategies, messages, and plans with diplomacy, always supported by data, to turn ideas into action. My understanding of human emotions helps me build connections that motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.Whether it\'s developing a vision and engaging stakeholders in mission driven initiatives, I can engage and influence at all levels of the organization. I thrive on mission-critical project work with a strategic focus on environmental stewardship and becoming agents of change. I bring my experience, passion, and creativity to organizations, helping them develop new initiatives, revitalize stalled projects, and foster beneficial stakeholder engagements. I am often the missing link when it comes to adding storytelling and answering the “why” to strategic initiatives often illuminating the “I didn’t know that” and creating opportunities to engage and build relationships. People buy into policies and procedures, it’s when they can connect to the story and how they contribute that the magic happens. Being awarded the 2024 Earth Champion Award for shepherding communication, connection, and fundraising for the Arboretum as well as securing the AASHE STARS Bronze Award for Salve Regina University, is a great reflection of where my contributions add value. My background in theatre enhances my ability to present data in engaging ways and create memorable events that drive success. If you are interested in collaborating on persuasive communications, influence and strategy, event planning, program management, and supporting DEI and sustainability initiatives, please reach out. I\'m happy to connect!
