Founded Madat Balochistan, a registered grassroots organization that assisted flood affected communities with emergency ration, medical support, rescue, relief, and rehabilitation in 34 districts across the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan; focusing on women, widows, menstruating girls, pregnant and lactating women, minority communities on priority basis- Fundraised for flood relief in climate-disaster vulnerable regions through mutual aid on online platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and GoFundMe- Impacted people by creating a network of relief providers and coordinating with the local government, community elders, midwives, and grassroots volunteer collectives- Built 350+ zero-carbon, climate change adapted, and flood-resilient houses for flood affected families using the design by architect Yasmeen Lari using vernacular architecture and low-cost materials in Usta Muhammad, Balochistan and Qambar Shahdadkot, Sindh - Collaborating with the Learner’s Republic and AtomCamp to equip flood-affected students with the skills they need to develop climate-change resilient livelihoods by engaging them in Data Science, Coding, and other tech-related courses- Started running two community-based schools in Gandakha, Usta Mohammad to engage flood affected students, especially young girls in sports, arts, public speaking for rehabilitation purposes; focusing on helping them understand climate change, adaptation, and how to build resilience on a community level- Currently sponsoring 80+ students across Balochistan to encourage girls education past the primary and middle school level
