Maryam Hasanpour is a transportation safety professional with a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University. She has experience in data-driven road safety analysis, microsimulation modeling, and traffic operations assessment. Currently a Traffic Project Manager at Durham Region, she evaluates traffic safety measures and explores the application of ITS for proactive safety strategies.
