Dr Mary Ambach is a recognized leader in Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine. She specializes in non-surgical orthopedics, regenerative injection therapies, sports medicine and interventional pain management.She is double board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. She also has double subspecialty fellowships in Orthopedic Spine & Sports Medicine and Orthobiologics & Regenerative Medicine. She is a Clinical Instructor at the UCSD School of Medicine and a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSD Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery. She also had academic affiliations at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Western University of Health Sciences and Southern California University Sports Medicine Program. She has authored published articles and book chapters in Orthopedics and Regenerative Medicine. She is actively involved in clinical research to promote natural ways to heal spine and joint injuries. She has served as Faculty and Speaker at Regenerative Conferences around the world. Dr. Ambach is one of San Diego’s Top Doctors for 2023 and 2025, voted by fellow San Diego Physicians for her excellence in medicine. She was also awarded by the Arthritis Foundation as the Los Angeles 2018 Orthopedic Honoree, the Top Performer Award for Orthobiologics, and the Lutz Excellence Award from the Orthobiologic Institute and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.She has almost 2 decades of clinical experience in treating sports, spine and pain conditions in various medical practice settings. Dr. Ambach provides expert care to Olympic and professional athletes in treating their injuries and getting them back to their optimum fitness level. She has also treated marines, navy seals, and special forces veterans and provided complimentary regenerative treatments to veterans to give back to our nation’s heroes and contribute to the Warrior2Warrior program. She is currently in a solo private practice in North County San Diego establishing a leading innovative orthopedic regenerative medicine practice at the BIOEVOLVE San Diego Orthobiologics and Sports Center
