About Maryam Khalid

Systems focused public health practitioner and consultant with a decade of experience and a doctorate working across business operations, strategy, and innovation. Program management leading mhealth technology across 15+ countries. November 2020 doctoral graduate from Harvard\'s TH Chan School of Public Health. My dissertation research was in collaboration with Ariadne Labs as part of the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative (PHCPI) on designing the adaptation of the Progression Model, a national primary health care measurement tool assessing government capacity, for multiple subnational settings. Prior to my doctorate, I used to build mobile health apps – working at the intersection of public health and tech – creating solutions for community health workers to use as job aides while simultaneously improving organizations and ministries of healths’ monitoring and evaluation of programs. I have extensive experience designing solutions to improve health systems and collaborating and working with governments to do so.
