Connection. Relationship. Passion. Certitude. Couples tumble into stress and chaos and need assistance to design a way of unhealthy interactions and repair. Couples’ events for entering therapy for the blended family in distress, infidelity, intense emotional struggle, and traumatic experiences disruptions. I design sessions to develop a safe haven for exploring deeper connection with skills given for repair, physiological calming, and attachment. As a counselor 20+ years with experience working in Intensive Outpatient, Alternative School, and in Private Practice I continue to boost couples in crisis using Gottman Method, Emotionally focused Therapy with attachment intervention to reach new patterns in a healthier relationship. I am a life long learner in how to make the best of chaos and stress, I’m here to design a plan and help you succeed at relating to others in your life. How may I help you to create calm in the chaos? I discover your strengths and create processes for saving your energy for the important matters of the heart and mind. I use the Gottman Method which is based in 40 years of research by John Gottman, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) by Sue Johnson. And also Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT) begun by Pia Mellody with Internal Family Systems (IFS) developed by Richard Schwartz. Specialty areas include personalized relationship development goals. I take special care in trauma, rebuilding after break in trust, intensive sessions and Telehealth Counseling. I work with individuals and couples throughout Ohio.
