ABOUT MARYA ATASI

Hi! I’m a Program Manager with a passion for creating meaningful and inclusive programs that bring people together across cultures and regions. I currently lead global DEI initiatives in the payments industry, programs that have doubled participation, increased revenue, and fostered genuine connection and learning among senior professionals worldwide.I also have a background in non-profits and working with underrepresented youth. With a degree in International Relations (UBC grad here ), I’ve always been drawn to work that blends strategy, community, and impact. Whether I’m managing a global mentorship program, launching new learning experiences, or collaborating with partners across six regions, I care deeply about amplifying underrepresented voices and making things more accessible, equitable, and human.I take pride in the strong partnerships and connections I’ve built across regions, cultures, and industries to create communities that are both impactful and sustainable.I’m fluent in English and Arabic, love working in diverse, cross-cultural environments, and feel most energized when I’m juggling projects, solving problems, and building something that serves a greater purpose.Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen testing new recipes, lifting weights or sweating through a hybrid workout, reading my way through a never-ending book list (I hit 52 books in a year once!), or planning my next adventure somewhere new.Let’s connect!
