Provide project management support for the Western Kenya Water Project (USAID WKWP) within the East & Southern Africa Portfolio and backstop the USAID STAWI and KPEEAP projects.• Responsible for project lifecycle management support including assisting with start-up, implementation, and closedown phases of approximately $25+ million USAID funded WASH project. • Primary Point of Contact for Field project delivery teams, providing project management support for Finance, Grants, Procurement, Contracts, IT, and Human Resources processes. • Prepare weekly meeting agenda, maintain project files, lead weekly telecons with WKWP Kenya office and track progress of deliverables using Excel, OneNote, Power BI, TAMIS, and SharePoint.• Financial Management: conduct quarterly forecasts and financial analyses using Power BI, synthesize and visualize data, non-billables audit, project pipeline update, prepare invoices following indirect cost rate compliance - NICRA. Responsible for performance monitoring and data analysis for routine financial reports. Reviewed and approved Field Expense Reports, Requisitions, and Advance and Drawdown Requests. • Contract Management: Draft routine contractual documents including agreements using approved templates and monitor compliance with contract and regulations and track quarterly progress reports. • Successfully helped draft a Private Sector (Stakeholder) Engagement focused grant manual supporting youth and women in targeting country specific sector challenges. Demonstrated understanding of the project’s grants programs, including the purpose, ceiling, required approvals, and grant types.
