As president of Psi Chi, my goals have been to increase membership recruitment and engagement, and enhance our digital presence. In my time in this role, I have increased our meeting attendance from an average of 12 members to 43 through targeted student outreach efforts (e.g. coordinating student officer visits to psychology lectures each semester, attending all student organization fairs, etc.). To enhance our online presence, we revived our Instagram account and now post regularly, cleaned up our website and Campus-Groups page, and keep our organization information updated on the psychology department website. I hope to continue to grow and strengthen this organization for the remainder of my time at ODU and facilitate a smooth transition to the next leadership team.My responsibilities include designing all club graphics, logos, and merch, leading weekly officer meetings, planning bimonthly general body meetings, volunteer events, and workshops, facilitating communication between members, officers, and faculty, and managing our social media and websites.
