I took a leave of absence from my work at Chicago\'s Resurrection Medical Center in April of 2024 to care for my mother who became ill in Omaha, NE. At Resurrection, I worked in both outpatient rehabilitation and acute care for approximately 20 years. I recently accepted a position at OrthoNebraska, working weekends in occupational therapy. Working at OrthoNebraska allows me to provide my mother with the care she needs, while fulfilling my teaching obligations at NEIU in Chicago.
