ABOUT MARY NYGREN
As a Nurse Supervisor at Axcess Home Care, I oversee and coordinate the care of 150+ clients and aides, ensuring compliance with Medicaid policies and waivers. I attend in-home visits with medically compromised individuals and tailor their plan of care, using various software programs for data collection and documentation. I am also responsible for onboarding new employees and aides and optimizing utilization management.Prior to joining Axcess Home Care, I worked as a travel NICU RN for two different hospitals, where I gained experience in caring for infants and attending high risk deliveries. I have trained in different level NICUs and have knowledge of HFOV, ventilators, central lines, TPN, blood administration, drips, pain and NAS management, HIE cooling, chronic/congenital/genetic conditions, and a wide array of infections and illnesses. I have also mentored and precepted new and experienced RNs and worked as a COVID vaccinator prn. I hold an associate\'s degree in nursing from Midlands Technical College and have certifications in NRP, ACLS, PALS, and BLS. I am driven, hardworking, and a team player, always willing to learn and expand my knowledge and experience as a bedside nurse. I am also open for possible future remote roles.
