I have been an editor, manager, mentor and problem-solver at NerdWallet for nearly a decade. Throughout my tenure, I have supported all of the company’s content verticals, and even got the rare opportunity to build a new one from scratch.In 2020 I pivoted, stepping away from leading a vertical to launch a specialized team designed to help verticals bridge staffing, management or strategic alignment gaps, and handle business-critical developments. The At-large team I created enables me to support verticals locally and maintain a close proximity to the daily opportunities and challenges writers and editors face, while also contributing to the overall health, growth and trajectory of NerdWallet’s Content team.Prior to NerdWallet, I earned my M.S.J. in journalism at Northwestern University\'s Medill School of Journalism and worked for a handful of trade magazines, a newspaper syndicate and an international professional association.
