   Applied epidemiologic analysis methods within and outside traditional health domains to developinnovative approaches and tools for the modeling, analysis and mitigation of contagious phenomena. Accomplishments included:*Development and delivery of interactive public health training in classroom and field settings to diverse audiences in international settings (Jordan, Republic of Georgia). Trainees have included mid- to high-level ministerial staff, epidemiologists, veterinarians and public health workers with scientific and non-scientific backgrounds. Topics of training have included outbreak preparedness and response; vector surveillance; field collection of arthropod vectors; tick and mosquito identification; and tabletop exercises on interagency outbreak response. Selected training materials have been adopted as Government Furnished Information (GFI).* Developed proof-of-concept decision support tool for biological event response that incorporates epidemiologic modeling with decision theory to guide decision making under uncertainty.* Created and integrated multi-disciplinary team to identify, evaluate, and implement measures and metrics of cybersecurity resilience. Research interests include biosurveillance, public health emergency response planning and preparedness, public health capacity building, risk assessment, and cyber security.
