Mary Ellis LaGarde graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in Economics from the Frostburg State University of Maryland. She obtained her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. Ms. LaGarde is a Member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Florida, the the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. LaGarde has been featured as a legal commentator on CNN, Good Morning America, Dateline, Nightline, MSNBC, and various local news stations. Ms. LaGarde has represented clients in civil litigation, including class actions, multi-district litigation proceedings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
