About Mary K.

As the Executive Director of a 1806-seat performing arts center that also functions as a cultural events center for our 4-state region, I serve as the chief executive officer and artistic director. I am responsible for the overall leadership and administrative oversight of the organization. I work closely with the board of directors and lead the staff to ensure the organization\'s vision, mission, and goals are met. My responsibilities encompass a wide range of areas, including financial management, programming booking six performance series and rental concerts, endowment oversight, contract management, program design, strategic visioning, fundraising and donor development, marketing, audience development, safety compliance, labor relations, creative and artistic visioning, and community engagement. As the former Education and Outreach Director at The Carson Center, I worked to deliver high-quality arts education and community outreach programs for schools, families, and seniors. Before that role, I served on the Board of Directors. With over 21 years of experience with this non-profit organization, I have successfully managed multiple projects, including co-chairing a capital campaign, website design, fundraising, marketing, and strategic planning. My passion for the arts and my commitment to community engagement drive me to create impactful and inclusive programs that enrich the lives of our audience and participants.
