Leads Challenger’s contracting function, overseeing the full cycle of contract management activities for both commercial and vendor contracting; liaises with and manages relationship with outside general counsel.• Manages legal/deal desk function, partnering with sellers and sales leaders on deal strategy, leading cross-functional conversations with Sales, Product, and Client Success leads to facilitate deal closure. Provides pricing guidance for custom products and ensures that all deals comply with company policies and procedures.• Owns review of client redlines to Challenger’s Master Service Agreements (MSAs); leads calls with client contacts to discuss unresolved terms and conditions and find middle ground. Reviews outside counsel’s redlines to client MSAs made on Challenger’s behalf, provides guidance on business terms, and owns redline of client’s statement of work template. • Represents Finance and Legal interests in the design, pricing, and structure of any new products; creates configuration, pricing, and revenue recognition rules for all new products to align with business requirements and CPQ, CRM, and ERP workflows. Ensures any new product features are in compliance with data security and GDPR requirements. • Leads cross-functional projects to support strategic goals for Finance and other functions of the business.
