ABOUT MARY HELEN SMITH

I am a passionate and ambitious Senior at Auburn University pursuing my Bachelor\'s in Marketing with a minor in Spanish. I have a strong interest in social media marketing and sports marketing, and I thoroughly enjoy curating unique content for use on any platform. Through my previous professional roles, I gained thorough experience on various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and many more. I have a passion for working with others to achieve a common goal, while maintaining an enjoyable environment for all. Throughout my time at Auburn University I have learned the absolute importance of hard work and time management. During the past three years, I have enjoyed being involved in the Harbert College of Business and Kappa Delta Sorority. I have gained innumerable useful tools through these organizations that will be beneficial in my professional career. Throughout the past few years, I have been fortunate to receive various positions and internships that have allowed me to gain much experience in the business realm. During the Summers of 2021 and 2022, I served as a data analyst intern at a medical software company, CPSI. I gained substantial knowledge of Excel software and the value of teamwork during my time at CPSI. During the Summer 2023, I served as a media coordinator and data analyst for Gunnison Travel Agency where I gained considerable knowledge about the travel industry and travel marketing. I am currently serving as a retail sales associate at The Mix in Auburn, while also balancing life as a student. I have thoroughly enjoyed the social media marketing aspect of this role through creating content for social media to increase interest for the boutique. Overall, I have gained rich experiences through these internships and roles that will be useful in my future career. I look forward to gaining more experience during my college career and I am confident that I can be an asset to any organization.
