About Mary Alexander

In my role as Vice President of Business Development for Home Instead, I focus on building relationships with business and healthcare organizations to develop cutting-edge care solutions that will change the face of aging and provide value to seniors, families and the global Home Instead network. I also oversee the development and execution of the Home Instead comprehensive partnership strategy – our roadmap to advance home care as a critical part of the home care ecosystem at a fair market rate. As Chief of Staff, I support with the office of the CEO to drive key strategic projects that align with Home Instead’s short and long term goals, contribute to the business development strategies and enable collaboration across numerous teams. I joined Home Instead in 2003 after witnessing the power of companionship and caregiving in my own grandmother’s life. Since then, my passion to educate families on the various care solutions available for their aging loved ones has grown strong each year. Outside the organization, I sit on the Board of Directors for American Society on Aging (ASA) – an organization leading its members to fight for equity on behalf of older adults. I am also a Certified Senior Advisor, the leading certification for professionals serving older adults. In my spare time, I volunteer with Hilarity for Charity – a national non-profit organization is dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring change and accelerating progress in Alzheimer’s care, prevention and support.
