About Mary Bandstra
From serving formerly incarcerated adults at the St. Leonard’s Ministries Adult Alternative High School program (Now the Sister Jean Hughes High School) in Chicago, and then supporting students at DePaul University College of Law and Valparaiso University, I supported student success in both alternative learning and higher education/professional school settings. Inspired by the many students with whom I\'ve worked over the years, I embraced my own educational journey by returning to law school, as a law student! I graduated in May 2025, passed the July 2025 UBE, and am now learning the ropes as a newly minted attorney.
