ABOUT MARY GRACE SY
During the summer of 2018, I fell from the sky. I tried skydiving for the first time. While I was falling, I really thought about the risks that came with the decision I made. I was risking my life to be able to enjoy a free fall for one whole minute. However, despite the fact that my life was on the line, I knew that when I landed, I could say that I fell 1500 feet and survived. I became a risk taker. However scared I may be, I learned to take risks because that’s where I grow the most. I now use my fear in order to push me to do greater things. Along with that, doing greater things, such as skydiving, require me to fall. I don’t necessarily have to fall 1500 feet, but I do know that when I fall, I have to pick myself up. I’m proficient in creating creative solutions to problems, manual testing, communicating among others, planning events, verification and validation, and making sure to have one positive outcome per day.
