Oversee production and innovation for Crunchyroll’s pop culture event presence globally. More than 100 live events around the world in 2022 alone, across North and South America, the EU, the former Eastern Bloc, the Middle East, Oceania, and Asia. Lead teams to produce the Crunchyroll Anime Awards live from Tokyo, starting with our inaugural Tokyo show in 2022. Succeeded in our goals: honor Japanese creators in their home country; bring the anime industry together in one location; set strong voting and viewership numbers in the fan community. Lead teams to produce Crunchyroll “orange carpet” premieres, fan screenings, Japanese concerts, music festivals, autograph signings and more. Guide global event teams and establish best practices including quality production, event technology, health and safety measures, and event reporting and analysis. Grew Crunchyroll Expo in the United States to a fan-favorite, sellout show. Successfully pivoted to the online space with the innovative Virtual Crunchyroll Expo (VCRX) for 2020 and 2021; revamped the show to be a global brand with content in six languages. Drove audience engagement through generating 457K unique visitors to VCRX on the show weekend in 2021, an increase of 167K from the previous year, with average viewing time at more than 20 minutes per visit. 100 hours of programming and entertainment. Led 2021 Virtual Crunchyroll Expo teams to win a Silver Telly Award for Events & Experiences, building upon its distinction as the 2020 Exhibitor Magazine’s Best Virtual Event. Led the Crunchyroll Anime Awards to win Bronze Telly Awards in 2023 for best Use of Livestream and best Set/Stage Design. Launched a Virtual Crunchyroll Festival in France in 2021 and a live Crunchyroll Expo in Melbourne, Australia in 2022
