About Mary Foster
I am a third-year student at Indiana University\'s Kelley School of Business, co-majoring in management and law, ethics, and decision making (LEAD) with a minor in sport management/marketing. My passion for sports, sparked by playing flag football and earning seven varsity letters in high school, has driven me toward a career in the sports industry. This path was cemented after I participated in a summer program at Wake Forest University and managed the varsity football and girls\' lacrosse teams in my final year at Cate School.I value teamwork, hard work, and leadership. My two-year experience as varsity basketball team captain and working at McDonald\'s have taught me the importance of resilience and adaptability. I\'ve also gained valuable life skills from participating in two NOLS programs, which have prepared me to face challenges head-on.With a broad perspective and a mindset geared toward growth, I look forward to learning, collaborating, and furthering my career in sports management. I\'m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am ready to contribute to the field with my unique blend of skills and experiences.
