ABOUT MARY-CLAIRE WESEL
As the Data Analytics Manager at Paxos, I serve as the de facto head of analytics and lead teams in turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive product, risk, and operations decisions in digital assets and financial services. I’m passionate about the fintech space, especially blockchain and crypto, and I love the challenge of bringing structure to ambiguity, defining the right questions, building robust analytics, and translating results into decisions stakeholders can trust.Over my career, I’ve worked across the full analytics lifecycle: from partnering with business leaders to frame problems, to designing reliable data models and dashboards, to telling the story behind the numbers in a way that’s accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences. I’m especially motivated by opportunities to drive business growth, inform product strategy, create scalable self-serve analytics, and mentor analysts as they grow into strategic partners for the business.At Paxos, I also lead our AI strategy for data analytics - staying current on emerging tools, thoughtfully piloting them with the team, and using them to responsibly accelerate our path from raw data to insight while maintaining rigor, governance, and trust.
