I’m Mary, and together with my daughter, Gabi Angelini, we are the proud Co-Founders of Gabi’s WORKFORCE Our journey began with a simple yet powerful realization—despite Gabi’s passion for service, dedication, and vibrant personality, traditional employment opportunities were often out of reach due to widespread discrimination against adults with special abilities. This challenge sparked our mission to drive change.In Wake County alone, individuals live with disabilities, yet only 18% are employed. Gabi and I are determined to rewrite this narrative by empowering as many people as possible. Today, through our nonprofit company, we are proud to employ over 40 individuals, each contributing meaningfully to our mission.At Gabi’s WORKFORCE based in Raleigh, we provide both employment and workplace training opportunities. We collaborate with companies such as Peter Millar, AmerisourceBergen, and Chick fil A to offer high-quality packaging, assembling, labeling, and shipping services. Our aim is to foster self-reliance and independence among our team members while supporting businesses like yours with fulfillment needs, whether at our warehouse or on-site at your location.We would love the opportunity to support your company. Additionally, Gabi shares her inspiring journey across the country and would be honored to speak at your company or group event. Gabi recently gave a TedX talk and was also the keynote for the DEI Conference at the Raleigh Convention center. She was even a guest on The Kelly Clarkson workforce.org
