Leadership Team member, developing strategies for available resources and defining divisional needs and priorities, with also being responsible for establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with government, business, industry, community organizations and government officials. STEP Program Director, with 13 consecutive years of successful awards. Division-wide federal grant management (Approximately $28.6M) and division wide international contract management. Management of daily operations for the Washington State Department of Commerce Seattle office, including but not limited to: Facilities (including state, federal & foreign office subleasing), human resource liaison, payroll, recruitment, oversight of Certificate of Free Sale Program, Intern Program management, policy & procedure, legislative requests, inventory & asset management, procurement, accounting/finance management, supervision/management/growth over administrative staff, and guidance to managers/supervisors regarding finance, budget and administrative policy/procedure.
