About Marvin L. Logan

I am a philanthropy and social impact leader with over a decade of experience advancing opportunity through education, workforce development, and innovation. Currently serving as Director of Education & Employment at Rocket Community Fund, I oversee multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, align investments with our North Star Strategy designed to empower the most vulnerable constituents to have access to quality economic mobility, and build coalitions that expand opportunity for students, workers, and communities. Previously, I served as Executive Director of OH WOW! Children’s Center for Science & Technology, where I led a $5M capital campaign, secured $2M in state and federal appropriations, established an endowment to support operations, and expanded access to STEM programs serving youth annually. My leadership experience also includes driving workforce development and entrepreneurship initiatives at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan and shaping transition-to-career pathways at Inspiring Minds Youth. As a board member with the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and BRITE Energy Innovators, I engage directly in philanthropic governance, grantmaking oversight, and climate innovation strategy. My mission is to bridge philanthropy, equity, and innovation to drive systemic change while preparing communities for the future while honoring their unique histories and strengths.
