   Resident Engineer responsible for reviewing submittals, safety work plans, and confirm design calculations to verify if CSX specifications were met where applicable. Mr. Díaz monitors contractor’s work and perform quality assurance review. Mr. Díaz generates field reports pertaining to the construction work and investigates concerns to enforce terms of contract. Mr. Díaz attends daily meetings and produces pertinent correspondence to CSX relating to the project lookahead schedule followed by any proposed construction work. Mr. Díaz has created estimate-to-complete (ETC) forms to amend current project budgets. Mr. Díaz has monitored project costs to date via budget summary reports. Mr. Díaz has managed and delegated staff consultants to report to the field in order to oversee critical work activities over or adjacent to the CSX ROW to hold contractor accountable in fully executing approved pick plans. Mr. Díaz responds to project submittals and correspondence as the representative of CSX and guided the project towards targeted goals within CSX requirements as applicable. Once the scope of the project is completed, Mr. Díaz carries out the closeout phase of the project in both the sectors of the public projects or real estate projects to ensure all work is completed to suffice CSX specifications and to ensure final invoices are submitted as project is finalized.
