In this role, I serve at the American Embassy Complex, Department of State, Ankara, Turkey. I monitor and observe the construction activities of local workers (LWs) and Third Country Nationals (TCNs) and the materials to be installed in and around the secure area. To perform this role successfully I: • Place and activate security monitoring equipment for intrusion prevention to sensitive areas during non-duty hours or as directed.• Provide accessibility for workers to all areas in order to perform tasks during work hours.• Activate/De-activate alarm monitoring systems at the start and end of the workday for the protection of highly sensitive areas.• Ensure work stoppage and clearance of workers from work areas at lunchtime and close of the business duty day.• Ensure 100% security of the entire job site by following established guidelines and protocols.• Control the Secure Storage Area (SSA) and the material contained within.• Produce daily logs of all related activities and events.• Report all security-related incidents.• Perform other required tasks deemed appropriate by a higher authority in order to maintain the security of the job site.
