   Providing assistants for Forensic Condition Survey and Evaluation activities for STRUCTURAL within the material science group - STRUCTURAL Technologies’ StrongPoint Engineering, LLC (SP) Division and Operating Division- Structural Preservation Systems, Inc.(SPS). Providing design-build capabilities and developing turnkey repair strategies supporting SPS construction operations. Responsibilities include working with a diverse group of technical experts whose function is to assess and determine the extent of distress, physically and chemically, affecting reinforced concrete and associated support structures. Documentation and communication of observed conditions in the form of oral and written correspondence is an important aspect of the concrete repair process and the education of customers regarding their maintenance needs is a prime focus of SP. Duties also require Research and Development of new evaluation tools, equipment and processes for use in atypical evaluation scenarios and the implementation of new technologies in contract work. SP develops Quality Control and Quality Assurance specifications for the construction means and methods employed and implemented by SPS construction operation work forces. SP is also responsible for providing technical expertise and consultation services to “Key-Account” clients and is available for rapid turnaround of investigative assessments (i.e. Hydrocarbon/Power customer “minuteman status”). SP specializes in evaluating single and multiple catastrophic event investigations including Fire, Flood, Explosion, and Impact as well as less rapid deterioration mechanisms such as abrasion, erosion, chemical attack and original construction defects.
