A seasoned educator and instructional leader with over 40 years of experience across K–12 and higher education, I am passionate about advancing equitable, innovative learning environments. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at South Lakes High School (Fairfax County Public Schools), I specialize in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse learners and fostering inclusive academic communities.I hold a Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Teaching Culturally, Linguistically Diverse & Exceptional Learners (TCLDEL) from George Mason University, and a B.S. in Music Education from The King’s College (NY). My career has included roles as principal, assistant principal, instructional coordinator, equity and compliance officer, and federal subcontractor, spanning both public and private sectors.Recognized for building collaborative teams and practical solutions, I bring a data-informed and student-centered approach to leadership. Currently, I’m focused on advancing AI readiness for teachers and students—empowering educators to integrate emerging technologies that drive creativity, equity, and future-ready learning.
