ABOUT MARVIN MCLELLAN

I am a diverse Healthcare Executive with experience across the healthcare spectrum, including health system, physician practice, ambulatory care, post-acute care, pre-hospital care and payer ecosystems. I have achieved success planning, designing, financing and executing complex business growth strategies within health systems, post-acute providers, value based payer care models and in the air and ground medical transport industry. I have experience in healthcare operations as well as local, regional and national business and census growth strategy, physician engagement, sales and market development. I have extensive experience in physician recruitment through relocation agreements, practice acquisition, and employment. My experience includes building successful service lines from the ground up, turning around challenged service lines and facilities, as well as acquiring and joint-venturing inpatient and outpatient facilities. I have helped physicians, payers and health systems transition to value through the design of innovative models of care for medically complex, high ER use patients, transitional care management and clinical after-care patient engagement programs that identify and address critical gaps in clinical, behavioral health and social care. I have managed business divisions of more than 800 employees, with annual revenues in excess of $150M, and led successful start-ups, acquisitions, joint ventures and consolidations. Considered a senior business development executive with a combination of vision and corporate realism, I have been acknowledged for my capacity to harness the enthusiasm and talents of others, identify unique opportunities for growth and diversification, and exploit the necessary resources available to achieve business success while enhancing patient care and close physician engagement.
