ABOUT MARVENE YELDA
I am a current Senior at the Mike Ilitch School of Business-WSU studying both Accounting & Finance. Currently, at WSU, I’ve joined groups like Wayne Women In Business (WWiB), Chaldean American Student Association (CASA), Financial Management Association (FMA), and I am also a personal relations board member on Chaldean American Business Society (CABS). I joined these groups and organizations to make further connections with my peers studying similar areas. Outside of school, I worked as a Summer Accounting Intern in 2022 for the Savvy Sliders Corporate Office and in 2023, I worked at Niterra North America as an Accounting Intern which has gained me all the knowledge and experience needed to now be working part-time at the company until I graduate in 2024. I believe my skills in problem-solving, communication, and organization will help me to further my career in both Accounting and Finance and one day allow me to work alongside other professionals within those fields.
