ABOUT MARTYN PERRY

I am a highly motivated and experienced individual with over 17 years of experience within IT and senior strategic transformation business roles, managing digital transformation, organisational programmes and systems and service implementations. As acting Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO), I am responsible for collaborating on and delivering the Trust’s Digital Strategy. I have authored both the Digital Strategy and the Digital Transformation Plan 21-26 for the organisation, and currently tracking its successful delivery. I am a proven leader with a good reputation for being approachable, reliable, knowledgeable and well organised, with a substantial track record for delivering benefits through digital technologies for our staff and service users.I oversee the Health & Social Care Systems Strategy, IT Training, Programme Management & Projects, Service Development, Clinical Systems Support, Application Development, Data and Information departments (totalling 80 staff) as well as being a very active senior stakeholder on the SSHIS IT infrastructure support monthly strategy and delivery meeting with other regional partners.I am a member of the BCS chartered institute for IT (September 2021 - present) and FEDIP Advanced Practitioner status (December 2021 - present). In addition to my primary IM & T duties, between 2015 and 2018, I was responsible for establishing the PMO department and its processes for leading the Trust\'s PMO (reporting into the CEO) and programme managing the merger process with SSOTP. Throughout this period I was also an active resource in Staffs STP, managing the Stafford STP Digital PMO and Integrated Care Record procurement project to the point of successful contract award.Following the successful 2018 merger, I could no longer divide attentions between Head of PMO and IM & T due to the increased scale of the organisation, but do continue to support the Staffs Digital STP agenda through an active programme assurance role on the digital committee. This proven track record is enhanced by my continual professional development. Two degrees, a Masters in Healthcare Leadership, numerous professional IT and Microsoft qualifications, ITIL Foundation and project practitioner (PRINCE2 and AGILE), programme (MSP) and Portfolio Office (P3O) practitioner best-practice certifications.
