ABOUT MARTYN ROBBINS

As a Group Fraud and Revenue Assurance (RA) Manager at Orange, I am part of a team that leads the development and implementation of the fraud and RA strategy across the Orange Group, which operates in 26 countries and serves over 260 million customers. I have over 20 years of experience in fraud and operational risk management and prevention, and I am an internationally recognised specialist in this field.My role involves driving the fraud strategy into our group entities, making the cost of fraud visible, creating action plans to manage fraud within acceptable levels, capturing and sharing fraud intelligence, and coordinating the entity fraud teams. I also oversee operational fraud monitoring, commercial evaluations, credit risk, ethics, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and investigations. I have successfully managed fraud and RA in various telecom businesses and services, including fixed line, internet, carrier operations, mobile money, banking, and internal fraud.I am passionate about collaborating and communicating with people from different cultures and backgrounds, and I have travelled and worked with many of them. I am also an active member of the GSMA Fraud and Security Group. I am committed to enhancing the fraud and RA awareness and capabilities within the telecom industry and beyond.
