The role as Head of Coaching involves managing and leading the coaching department across the U9-18 programme. Managing and supporting coach and player development. Assisting the senior management team and leadership team with the running of the academy programme to support with category status requirements. Amongst that, many other roles;• Line manage coaching staff• Implement coaching curriculum and philosophy • Coach development• Designing a coach competency framework (CCF)• Implementing coach development action plans (DAPs)• Observations (training and matches)• Coach behaviour analysis (CBA)• CPD (whole club, phase only and individual opportunities)• Staff recruitment (FT, PT and volunteers) • FA coach education courses support• AMT/MDT/Technical Board meetings• Liaising with other departments
