These specialties, combined with a focus on enhancing workplace cultures, strengthening team performance, and partnering with cross-functional groups has enabled me to play a key role in building, directing, and expanding companies.After receiving my BS in Business Administration and Management (with a concentration in Marketing) from Northern Illinois University, I began my career in sales. When I realized that I enjoyed when my teams closed sales more than when I did personally, I transitioned to leadership roles and steadily advanced.As COO of N2 Publishing, an organization providing regional niche publications with targeted advertising, I helped drive expansion by transforming the culture, strengthening leadership performance, and creating scalable operational systems. I was also selected to build CultureX and its new national publication for executives focused on workplace culture. Along with my day-to-day activities, I was chosen to author an article for Entrepreneur.com and was asked to stay on as a contributing writer. I have since written more than 100 articles on topics such as leadership and workplace culture. In addition to writing about workplace issues, I’ve delivered presentations to audiences with more than HIGHLIGHTSGenerated 7-fold growth, leading to 8 years of recognition as an Inc. fastest-growing privately-held company. Facilitated 10-fold increase in team size after developing Culture Deck to secure high performing talent and minimize turnover.
