ABOUT CHARLES MARTY CASSINI

Marty Cassini was born in Coconut Grove, Florida and raised in the North Miami area. In 2001, he attended Barry University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in History. Shortly thereafter, Marty entered the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and earned his Juris Doctor in 2006. Upon graduation from Law School, Marty opted to enter the political realm of Florida government. He served as Legal Counsel to the Senate Minority Leader from 20••••08. During his time in the Senate, Marty created and developed comprehensive public policy models in various areas including gambling, transportation, health care, tax, insurance, and condominiums. He implemented many models from start to finish including research, drafting, media relations, consensus building and strategy.In 2008, Marty started his own law firm where he represented various clients on a number of business and finance issues. During this time, Marty was most involved with Corporate and Stockholder transactions, litigation, dissolution and compliance. Marty also practiced in the areas of Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Planning and Zoning, Licensing, and Contracts.During this same time, Marty also lobbied on behalf of a number of organizations, local governments and private businesses in front of both the Florida Legislature and Broward County. Marty has represented a number of clients on business and finance issues, employment and labor, compliance and administrative issues.In 2012, Marty joined the Broward County Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and Professional Standards as Legislative Counsel. In October 2017, the Office was dissolved and Marty went on to lead Intergovernmental Affairs for the County as an Section of County Administration.
