CORPORATE PROFILE: MFS is a political fundraising and campaign strategy consulting firm. RESPONSIBILITY PROFILE: With MFS, I was responsible for startup, and I currently drive revenue acceleration. I built the team, infrastructure, and strategic plan from the ground up, including a targeted list of potential customers, market engagement strategy, marketing, budgets, cash flow, mentoring employees, leading all contracting, and managing high-level client relationships. This established a first-of-its-kind firm, and although companies with a similar mission have since emerged, this type of firm and culture is still uncommon in the sector.ACHIEVED IN THIS ROLEFUNDRAISING• A newly elected political leader engaged my firm to drastically increase their financial support over 24 months, even though no more than $300K had ever previously been secured over that timeframe. I collected data regarding potential donors/donations, then developed a research-based strategy to increase contributions from new sources. This strategy raised $1M over 18 months, faster than any other Democratic leader. By Election Day, this leader was the largest single-cycle fundraiser in PA House history. Their fundraising strength directly contributed to Democrats gaining a majority in the PA House. These tactics have been replicated with other clients.TERRITORY EXPANSION• Two well-established competitors had already monopolized the Philadelphia area, which limited growth. However, I was determined to overcome this. I allocated funding to recruit two new staff members with well-developed professional networks in under three months. This has enabled expansion into two new markets with a more extensive client list, which has generated record-breaking annual revenue (34% increase) and positioned the organization to mature from a mid-sized to a sizeable political firm.
