ABOUT MARTY ORD

A technically astute, goal orientated and performance driven piping professional with an extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, working on a multitude of projects including FPSO\'s, semi-submersibles, offshore installations, petrochemical sites and module yards. An extensive track record of supervising and developing teams in the UK as well as abroad, being employed by international Oil and Gas companies and gaining experience in engineering and procurement. Exceeding typical expectations and now seeking a new professional challenge, certain to add significant and measurable value to any organisation. I am a goal orientated person and have the ability to work excellently as part of a team or individually. Experience has given me the flexibility and capability to fit in with established teams, while also having the confidence to bring together new teams. Technical Skills:• Fabrication and Welding of Carbon Steel and Exotic materials.• Installation of piping and module construction.• Preparation of test packs documentation for pneumatic and hydrostatic testing.• Integration of Modules at final locations.• Chemical cleaning and final reinstatement to ITR sign off.• Nitrogen Leak testing and witnessing and signing off on witness joint register.• Engineering assistance and Naviswork Model reviews for Constructability surveys.• Excellent knowledge of all relevant construction documents, blueprints, isometrics, P & ID’s contracts, as well as building quality control packages.• Excellent code-literacy with extensive experience working in different jurisdictions.• Expert health and safety knowledge, able to ensure business compliance with all relevant legislation.
