Casey Family Programs is the nation\'s largest operating foundation focused on safely reducing the need for foster care and building Communities of Hope for children and families across America. Founded in 1966, we work to inspire, influence, and inform long-lasting improvements to the safety and success of children, families and the communities where they live.The 10-member communications team develops strategic efforts that support our work with a host of critical audiences. Those include: Federal, state, local and tribal policymakers; child welfare leaders; judicial leaders; children in foster care and alumni; families (birth, foster, kin and others); private child welfare service providers; faith communities; researchers and academics; media; private sector; the philanthropic community; and other strategic partners.
