Provides guidance to Department and Hospital leadership on industry best practices, new technology, and other related topics.Works with gaming and tech based charity groups to identify and design new engaging experiences for our patients, provide useful and meaningful technology, and facilitate brand awareness and metrics. Tracks inventory, maintains and repairs, as well as assisting in purchasing/acquiring new gaming and tech equipment for the hospital.Engages community of “Patient Technology Specialist \'\', a number of whose positions were grant funded by Child’s Play Charity. Works with hospital leadership to deliver key metrics to Child’s Play Charity. Engages gaming community through conference panels and other speaking engagements to drive support and interest in Patient Technology Specialist roles.
